PDL pays for damage you cause to other people’s property in a motor vehicle accident.
You must maintain continuous coverage for your vehicle from the time you register it until after your surrender your plates. Failure to maintain required insurance coverage in Florida may result in the suspension of your driver license/registration and a requirement to pay a reinstatement fee of up to $500.
